Why Join the Alameda Family Collective?


AFC offers a platform to connect with your community. Joining is a great way to make friends and meet other families while positively impacting the local community.


Who Can Join?


Membership is open to all Alameda families – most activities occur on the island. Our members primarily have children aged newborn to five years. “Expecting” families are welcome too. AFC is an organization for the whole family!


What Benefits Do Members Enjoy?


Members can host and add events to the AFC calendar, view and attend programs and events other members post, and learn about special activities like the educational series. In addition to attending our events and programs, members have access to a catalog of 100+ books and DVDs via the AFC Lending Library. AFC also partners with local businesses to host events and provide discounts to our members. 


How to Join


It’s easy to become a member of AFC! To get started, fill out the application. Please answer all questions accurately and completely. This is to ensure that our community is safe and open for everyone.

Dues are $25 per family, annually. This money helps fund special events, activities, and philanthropy efforts for AFC members and the local community.

If you cannot afford to pay dues, some family scholarships are available. Get in touch for more information.
